In The Classroom

Good Beginnings: A Christ-Centered Start for a Lifetime of Learning

At Good Beginnings, we nurture the whole child—spiritually, academically, socially, and emotionally. From our playful, curiosity-driven programs for 3- and 4-year-olds, through Pre-K and Kindergarten, to our flexible Homeschool Hybrid for K–4th grade, every child builds a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
Our students grow

in faith, character, and confidence, exploring God’s world through hands-on discovery, strong academics, and developmentally appropriate experiences. Families love our supportive, values-driven community, and our reputation for excellence continues to grow—not only in our local area but also through the impact of our graduates as they make a positive impact in their next schools and communities.

A Day in the Life at Good Beginnings

At Good Beginnings, the day doesn’t just nurture children—it builds community for families, too.

  • Parents enjoy safe, friendly carline drop-offs, giving a chance to greet teachers and see their children start the day with joy.
  • After school, families often connect on the playground, strengthening friendships and supporting one another.
  • Our school offers volunteer opportunities, annual events, and special celebrations, giving parents ways to engage in their child’s learning and faith journey.
  • Families also share in the joy of blessing our dedicated staff, supporting and celebrating the heart, mission, and care that make Good Beginnings a special place for every child.

Preschool Foundation (Ages 3–4)

Preschoolers explore God’s world through hands-on, play-based learning that sparks curiosity, imagination, and social skills. Days include circle time with songs and Bible stories, open-ended discovery centers, creative art and music, outdoor play, and guided social interaction. Children build a strong foundation in learning, faith, and character, preparing them for Pre-K and Kindergarten.

Kindergarten Excellence (Ages 5–6)

PreKindergarten & Kindergarten build on the Preschool Foundation with excellence, more structured learning, and deeper discovery. Students engage in literacy, math, science, and creative projects, while Bible lessons and character discussions help them connect learning to faith, community, and God’s world. Outdoor play, music, art, and reflection support physical, social, and spiritual growth, preparing children to thrive in elementary school.

Hybrid Homeschool (K-4th)

Our Hybrid program combines the flexibility of learning at home with the excitement of school experiences that children love like bringing a backpack and having lunch with friends. Students enjoy friendship celebrations like Valentine’s parties, gym games, and collaborative projects, all designed to foster social skills and community. Class time includes public speaking opportunities, engaging read-alouds, hands-on science experiments, and creative art projects, giving children space to explore, imagine, and shine. Performances, presentations, and group activities allow students to build confidence, celebrate learning, and experience the joy of learning together—all while staying rooted in supporting families who learn at home.
As new parents, we were so happy to see the change in our daughter under such a wonderful program. Her teachers are warm and make leaving our child so much easier. Wonderful, safe, character building environment.

Good Beginnings is not only a great preschool & kindergarten, but a wonderful place that loves and truly cares for students. The teachers give so much of themselves to make the classroom warm and inviting. Good Beginnings is an amazing place for children to learn, play and grow. It has blessed my life by being part of it.
