Readiness-Based Learning for Children Ages 4–6 Growing Side by Side Toward Elementary Success
At Good Beginnings, we believe children thrive when they are known, supported, and taught at their individual level.
Kindergarten Foundations is a differentiated mixed-age classroom for Pre-K and Kindergarten students led by Ms. Bieler. With small class sizes of 15 students or fewer, children benefit from personalized instruction, strong foundations in literacy and math, hands-on learning, and meaningful peer interaction.
This unique model allows children to experience an intentional “grow year” without sacrificing strong academics. Many children ages 4–6 are placed in limbo simply because of birthdates rather than true readiness. Kindergarten Foundations bridges that gap by giving students the time, confidence, and individualized instruction they need to continue moving forward academically.
Students are grouped by readiness throughout the day, allowing each child to grow at their own pace while learning alongside peers of different ages and abilities. Older students naturally develop leadership and confidence, while younger students are encouraged and inspired by higher-level learning opportunities. Together, children rise as a classroom community.
With a strong focus on early literacy and math, Kindergarten Foundations is designed to build confident learners and create the academic foundation children need for long-term success.

Half Day Vs Full Day
Choosing between half day and full day is based on your child’s readiness and your family’s needs. Both options provide strong academic foundations through a morning of engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction. The full-day program offers a more relaxed and complete learning experience, with additional time to support the whole child. Along with all half-day instruction, full-day students benefit from extended academic practice, enrichment opportunities, rest and emotional support, and continued integration of biblical teaching and creative learning. The full-day option is ideal for children who are ready for a longer day and thrive within a full school-day routine.
